Giorgia received her Master’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 2017. Currently she is enrolled in a PhD program. Her main research interest is Numerical Analysis and in particular Numerical Optimization. In continuity with her master thesis, her PhD activity is focused on analysis and development of stochastic optimization methodologies and related applications in machine learning. She is also involved in an HiPeRT Lab project about dithering, a particular image processing technique.
