The memory hierarchy that equips current high-end multi-core embedded systems lacks predictability that renders them unsuitable for safety- and mixed critical applications. Last week Marco Solieri presented at #RTAS in Montreal a transparent software solution that allows to restore determinism without affecting performances, a joint work between the HiPeRT-Lab at the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia and the Boston University.
