I was born in Ravenna on September 19th, 1981. I received my B.S. Degree in Informatic Engineering at the university of Bologna in 2003, my M.S. from the University of Bologna in 2007, and a joint PhD in Electronic Engineering from Università di Bologna and Université de Bretagne-Sud (France) in 2013. Since then, I work as a research associate (roughly known as “PostDoc”) at Università di Modena and Reggio Emilia.
I developed my M.S. at ESLAB, University of Linkoping (Sweden) and I worked there till June 2008, then I moved at Micrel Lab as an research intern. In January 2010 I became a PhD Student at Micrel Lab(now ERC Multitherman Lab) at Università degli Studi di Bologna, and in January 2011 I was enrolled as a PhD Student also at Lab-STICC, Universitè de la Bretàgne Sud, FR (..clearly I haven’t had enough of it…).
Since 2014 I work as a research fellow at Università di Modena and Reggio Emillia
My main research topics are
– Parallel Programming models for MPSoCs and Hardware acceleration
– Predictable Communication Infrastructures for MultiProcessor Systems-on-Chip
